Perhaps I spoke too soon with my previous post. I hadn't heard about Google+ yet, its interesting timing.

Google have tried, and failed, with Social Networking a number of times already (Orkut, Buzz, etc) but it sounds like this time they are simply taking the good points of Facebook and improving on the bad points.

It will be interesting to see where this goes as I said before, it will all come down to how big your social stream is (how many friends you get on Google+) before people switch to it.

Interestingly they have changed their search main page, with subtle font/colour changes as well as the new menu. I know they are very resistant to change as people complain about the smallest things changed.

Anyway second day at my new job. Its going well, a stark contrast from my old job where there was very little social aspect to the team. Am liking it so far.
